Samosir Music International, European and Indonesian musicians will perform Batak songsat TuktukSiadong, Samosir island on 23-24 of August 2019
Because of the growing success, this time the event is planned for two days: Friday and Saturday afternoon until evening, 23 -24 August 2019. Everybody is welcome.
The annual big event of Samosir Regency, Samosir Music International (SMI), celebrates its 5thanniversary in 2019. The location is still at SamosirIsland, an island in the middle of the beautiful Lake Toba, North Sumatra.
European musicians will perform Batak songs
In accordance with the name of the event, there will bebandsfrom Germany, the Netherlands and Malaysia to collaborate with national and local musicians.
As usual the unique side of this event, the artists involved will bringing Batak songs as well as their own repertoire. All the bands are reallylooking forward to perform at SMI andare ready for the big party.
Henry Manik, Project Manager and the executor of this idea, said that this year SMI also plans to involve art studios ofSamosir Regencyand also the zumba community, to enliven the event this two days. In addition to these arts and cultural activities, there will be variable of food and drinks.On top of that there is no need of a ticket, the concert is for free. Al the reason to join.
